Jackal
Many products exist for running and tracking progress on software projects. There are tools for
configuration management, time tracking, chatting and many more. All of
these tools foster collaboration by team members creating software products, but none of them is
all-encompassing and will offer a software development team a panacea for all their project
needs. Furthermore, only some of these tools exist for use online as a web application. Jackal is an online
collaborative environment for any software development team to use from a
multinational corporation all the way down to software engineering students on a school project.
